Early Birds Info and Registration

December 16, 2012 Leave a comment

In an earlier post on the NCNCA Road Schedule I mentioned the Early Birds training series, where you can learn many valuable skills or freshen them up for the new season. The first clinic is on January 6th. There are separate categories and times (check the schedule!!!) for juniors (ages 6 to 18), women, and men, categories 5, 4, and 3, followed by a training race for the P/1/2/3s, and possibly a separate one for W P/1/2/3.

Velopromo has now posted the detailed schedule and curriculum as well as registration info for the series. If you do not have a racing license, you can buy a 1-day license.

I’ll be there, as a mentor, and to practice my own skills. There’s no better feeling than zipping through a corner knowing exactly which line is ideal for maximum speed (assuming that said corner is diaper-free, of course).

NCNCA Road Schedule 2013

The NCNCA has just announced the road race schedule for 2013. The full schedule can be found here, but here are the Early Bird dates, which I strongly recommend to brush up your racing skills. I will again be volunteering as a mentor/coach since I also need to practice my skills — we all do!

For those of you who don’t know what the Early Bird training series is, see my post from last year here.
